StatementsCraft ("we", "us") provides bank statement conversion tools at statementscraft.com. For privacy requests contact [email protected].
What we process
We process uploaded bank statement files solely to provide conversion services. We do not log file contents. Account data (email, usage counts) is handled via Clerk and Supabase when you sign in.
File retention
Uploaded and converted files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after approximately one hour. Download links expire after the same period.
Cookies, analytics, and affiliate tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) load only after you accept via our cookie banner. Affiliate tracking (Travelpayouts) loads on pages with partner links. You may reject analytics cookies without affecting core conversion features.
Affiliate links
Some visa and travel guide pages include affiliate links to third-party services (for example travel insurance via SafetyWing or EKTA, or visa assistance). If you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labeled on the page and use rel="sponsored" where appropriate. Our editorial content and tool recommendations are not influenced by affiliate partnerships.
Legal bases (GDPR)
For EU/EEA/UK users: we process conversion data on the basis of contract performance (providing the service you request). Analytics runs on consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data or contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. EU users may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. Indian users may exercise rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023 via our contact email.
Subprocessors
We use trusted providers to operate the service:
- Clerk — authentication
- Lemon Squeezy — payments (merchant of record)
- Supabase — account and usage data
- Cloudflare R2 — temporary file storage
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (consent-gated)
- Travelpayouts — affiliate link tracking (EKTA)
- SafetyWing — travel insurance ambassador program
- Vercel / Render — hosting
International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our subprocessors operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
