StatementsCraft (www.statementscraft.com) is a software service that helps you turn bank statement spreadsheets into embassy-ready PDFs. When you pay, delivery is automated — your converted document is typically available for download right after processing completes.
We want you to be satisfied with the service. This policy explains when refunds may be available for monthly subscriptions and one-time conversions or credit purchases, and how to contact us.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. That means Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, tax where applicable, and payment processing on our behalf. Lemon Squeezy may have additional terms or requirements related to billing and refunds; where those apply, they work alongside this policy.

Subscription refunds
Monthly subscription plans give you ongoing access to StatementsCraft features and included usage for each billing period.
- First subscription purchase: If this is your first paid subscription with us, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge date, provided your account usage during that period has been minimal (for example, only light testing rather than regular production use).
- Extensive use: If you have already used the service extensively during the billing period — such as completing multiple conversions or consuming a large share of your plan allowance — we may decline a refund because the digital service has already been delivered.
- Renewals: Automatic subscription renewals are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong with a renewal charge, contact us promptly and we will review your case.
- Cancellation: You can cancel future renewals at any time through your account or Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not by itself refund the current period unless this policy allows it.
One-time conversion and credit purchases
Pay-per-use conversions and credit packs (including Visa Pack credits) are digital products. Once processing succeeds, your PDF or credit balance is delivered immediately.
- Completed conversions: When a conversion finishes successfully and you can download the output, that purchase is generally non-refundable, because the digital document has been provided.
- Consumed credits: Credits that have already been applied to a conversion or feature are not refundable.
- Unused credits: If you bought credits but have not used them and believe you purchased in error, contact us within a reasonable time. We may offer a refund or account credit at our discretion.
- Technical failure: If you were charged but did not receive a working output due to a platform error (see below), we will work with you on a fix or refund.
Technical issues and service failures
We stand behind the reliability of StatementsCraft. If something goes wrong on our side, we want to make it right.
A refund may be issued when:
- The platform fails to generate or deliver the purchased output (for example, a persistent error after upload, or a missing download despite a successful charge).
- Our support team cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time after you report it with enough detail for us to investigate (such as screenshots, error messages, and the approximate time of the attempt).
Refunds are not typically provided for issues caused by the uploaded file (incorrect format, corrupted data, or content that does not match our supported templates), your internet connection, or third-party tools outside our control. We may still help you troubleshoot when possible.
Chargebacks and fraudulent claims
If you have a billing concern, please email us at [email protected] before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer. We can often resolve issues faster than a chargeback investigation.
- Chargebacks: Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and can result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed.
- Fraud: We take misuse seriously. Fraudulent chargebacks, abuse of refund requests, or repeated policy violations may lead to account suspension and refusal of future service.
How to request a refund
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Refund request. To help us process your request quickly, include:
- Order ID — from your Lemon Squeezy receipt or confirmation email
- Purchase email — the address used at checkout
- Description of the issue — what you bought, what happened, and whether you received a download or used credits
- Account email — if different from your purchase email (for signed-in users)
We review each request fairly and will reply with our decision and any next steps.
Processing time
If your refund is approved, it is typically processed within 5–10 business days. The timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer and Lemon Squeezy's payment network. You will receive confirmation by email when the refund is initiated.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to a different card or via cash transfer.
